Julian Reid Show + Q/A

The Yale Undergraduate Jazz Collective is excited to host Julian Reid, a Yale alumnus (MC ’13) and award-winning writer/musician, for an interview and performance on the 27th of March in Silliman Common Room, from 7:15pm to 8:45pm (doors open at 7pm, located near the Silliman dining hall on the second floor). Julian, who has collaborated with artists including Jennifer Hudson and Chance the Rapper, will perform with his ensemble Circle of Trust, composed of Jeff Fuller (MC ’67) on bass, Ryan Sands on drums, Lenard Simpson on sax, and Tramaine Parker on vocals.

The event will be an inspiring exploration of jazz and spirituality, and he will be discussing what it means to be an artist-theologian. More information about Julian can be found on his website: juliandavisreid.com.

This event is free to attend and generously sponsored by the Traphagen Alumni Speakers Series, Yale College Office of Student Affairs.
