Ethan Kyzivat | President
Ethan Kyzivat (Morse College 2015) is a pianist and postdoctoral fellow in earth science at Harvard University. He was one of the founding members of the Jazz Collective, helped organize the first Jazz Festival at Yale, and has served on the board of Jazz Haven. At Yale, he sang in the a cappella group Redhot & Blue, for which he has written several arrangements. He lives in Providence, RI.

Ethan Dodd | Treasurer
Ethan Dodd (Jonathan Edwards 2022) is a saxophonist and journalist who covered the 2024 election in Pennsylvania. He's worked for and contributed to The Free Press, Economist, Washington Monthly, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Baltimore Banner, and PBS NewsHour. During his "Bright College Years," he served as Chief Financial Officer of the Jazz Collective, turned the student group into a non-profit 501(c)(3), and was elected president of the Yale Jazz Ensemble. At Yale, he debated in the Yale Political Union, worked for the Yale Daily News, and studied Ethics, Politics & Economics. He lives in the Washington metro area.

Will Gearty | Secretary
Will (Branford College 2014) is a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where he studies the constraints and drivers of biodiversity across time and space. During his time at Yale, he served as the Secretary and President of the YUJC and helped plan the first and second Annual Jazz Festivals. He played saxophone and clarinet in the Yale Concert Band, Yale Precision Marching Band, and several musical productions.

Alexander Dubovoy
Alexander graduated from Yale in 2016, where he was a board member at the Yale Undergraduate Jazz Collective all four years. He weaved jazz into his academic interests and wrote an award-winning thesis on the history of jazz in the Soviet Union. Since graduating, he has continued performing and recording and also works in music technology as a software developer.
